The Role of ‘The Proprietor’

Committed to responsible stewardship and wise governance

The New Zealand Seventh-day Adventist Schools Association Limited owns, administers and is responsible for the maintenance of Adventist Schools in New Zealand while the day-to-day operation of schools is funded by the Ministry of Education – Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga.

This integration is mutually beneficial to both parties and enables parents to choose a faith-based education as an affordable alternative to state or private schooling.

A limited number of scholarships for undergraduate and post-graduate study are available to eligible students in the NZPUC. Strict residential, academic and lifestyle criteria apply in each case.
